Educate, Advocate, Agitate

2025 National Conference

September 26-28, Vancouver, BC

Educate! Advocate! Agitate!

Get Ready for the Inaugural Lawyers Against Transphobia Conference this Fall!

Join us for a two-and-a-half-day gathering that brings together two-spirit, trans, nonbinary, and gender-diverse activists, advocates, legal professionals, organizers, educators, and allies from across the country. More than just a conference — it’s a movement-building event where we’ll ignite change, forge powerful connections through bold conversations, share skills through workshops, and a practice of joy-as-resistance.

Together, we’ll shape the future of LGBTQ+ legal rights and stand united against transphobia.

Lawyers Against Transphobia - Educate! Advocate! Agitate!

What to Expect

This trans-led conference intends to build power across trans people and communities nationwide and explore legal and community-based responses to transphobia.

  • Workshops led by trans legal experts, organizers, and community members
  • Skill-building for lawyers, legal workers, and law students.
  • Community care spaces, art, and opportunities to rest and connect
  • Action-oriented conversations about dismantling legal violence, protecting trans lives rooted in abolition
  • Accessibility-first approach to space, needs, and participation

Whether you’re a trans legal worker, organizer, community member, or someone impacted by the system, this conference aims to centre you.
