Get Ready for the Inaugural Lawyers Against Transphobia Conference this Fall!

Welcome! We are delighted to share space, wisdom, and community with you. This trans-led conference aims to bring together voices to support trans resistance, facilitate collaborations, share joy, and create practical legal and community-based strategies to combat transphobia.

Through two and a half days of learning from each other, we hope to:

• Up-skill and engage lawyers in trans-competent services and advocacy.
• Make legal tools and strategies accessible to those working outside the legal sphere.
• Examine how we collectively navigate and resist transphobia, and build power through the lens of self-led liberation.
• Support the creation of a plan to combat transphobia.

Our agenda includes challenging conversations about the limits of rights-based and legislative protections as we fight for true liberation.

We hope this is a space where we can explore these questions, be brave, bold, and caring together.
